A trip up the road to Airlie Beach

Today we moved to the #AirlieBeachDiscoveryPark so Greg can run the 10km Fun Run tomorrow. We had plenty of time to spare as the drive was only 2 hours, so we stopped in at #WhitsundayGoldCoffee in #Proserpine. If you have kids, this place is a must. They had a massive range of animals for the kids to explore, and for us, it was about the good coffee & beans for the coffee machine.

We then headed onto Airlie, set up camp & I whipped up a double batch of Sausage Rolls for the freezer. I am still amazing at how quick things like this are with a Thermomix on the bench. The batter was made within 1 minute, and with 4 little hands rolling, they were in the freezer within 5minutes. I have to acknowledge the amazing preclean feature, that had the bowl sparkling in a the few minutes while the kids were rolling them.

Next out of the Thermomix was the new Cotton Soft Japanese Cake. Check out this video to see how it is done even when you only have a silicon loaf tin to use.

P.S To cut a loaf tin into triangles, cut across the log in diagonal cuts :) It then looks like its come out of a round tin.
